The O'Neill Surf Academy is operated by West Coast Surfari who have been an established surf school in and around the Newquay area since 1997.
The team boasts dedicated surfers that coach and travel the world year to year, fortunate enough to live the lifestyle they promote. The enthusiasm for the sport they love shows through in their coaching skills, and that's where you'll benefit!
We offer a great variety of all ability surf courses from an Intro Session through to a Week Long Course, Individual and Small Group Coaching, Longboard Training Days, O'Neill feature days, ......and of course, not forgetting those Kids! With our hugely popular "Kids Only" surf school est.1999 still going strong, entertaining those nippers in those long summer weeks of school holidays is never a problem.
New for 2008......
We are now operating our surf lessons on a mobile basis for 2008, with most sessions being held at the beautiful Watergate Bay. The team of O'Neill coaches will greet you in the morning at Watergate Bay, assess the surf conditions and then decide which beach is best for us to use - so you get the very most out of you coaching. Mostly we'll aim to stay at Watergate but it's always assessed with your benefit and needs in mind. If surf conditions are unfavourable in the Bay, we will venture on a true surf surfari to find you the best waves in the area!
