Feeling frustrated with your surfing? Need a confidence boost? Not getting any further?

The Longboard Training Days are designed for those surfers already riding a longboard or learning to ride a longboard.
We aim through intensive coaching for a full day to help you conquer your goals and get you to the next level.

Ashleigh Bennetts, Dan Rawsthorn and their team of coaches will greet you in the morning at Watergate Bay, assess the surf conditions and then decide which beach is best for us to use - so you get the very best out of your coaching sessions. Mostly we'll aim to stay at Watergate but it's always assessed with your benefit and needs in mind.

We'll then pop you in for your first surf to gather an idea of where you are at, surfing with you at all times. If you don't have your own board or have one that's not suitable then don't worry, we'll provide that for you, courtesy of The Extreme Store at Watergate Bay.
After your first surf we'll gather for a chat to discuss technique and help you with some visual coaching on the sand. Lunch will be taken over viewing a current longboard DVD, again analysing technique. After lunch we'll take you for your second surf, a longer session, training you individually in the water.
Groups are small and coaching will be set at a ratio of one instructor per 6 pupils so you get the best from our team at all times.
After your surf we'll gather once again, over coffee to remind you of your techniques to take away and be available for any questions you may wish to ask.

All surfers will receive handouts plus a gift bag from O'Neill at the end of the course.
